As a Director of the Chilliwack Fraser Charitable Foundation, Mike is always looking for ways to raise money in order to provide more scholarships for local students.
Three years ago he came up with the idea of a Show and Shine and each year the event has become more successful.
This August we had a great day at the McLatchy Ranch. Mike cooked chickens over an open charcoal fire and they were incredible - as was all the other food!
And the cars! Here is a video sample of some of the beautiful classic vehicles that showed up on the day.
We also held a silent auction which was very successful and over $3000 was raised for the Foundation.
